Meet the Architect

Windsor, Ontario Architect, Stuart Miller, B. Arch., OAA is the founder and principal architect of MMA Architect Inc. He was born in Toronto and attended the University of Waterloo, receiving a Bachelor of Environmental Studies and a Bachelor of Architecture. After his architectural studies at Waterloo, which also took him to Rome, Italy, he gained experience with prominent Toronto firms. Eventually, he relocated to Essex County, Ontario and opened an architectural practice. His cultural, commercial, corporate, institutional, recreational and residential designs can be seen throughout Southern Ontario.

For 20+ years he has carefully guided his industry team in the creation of client projects, continually inspiring them to new heights. His participation in professional development has enabled him to periodically update his knowledge. This continuing education has allowed him to remain aware of current architectural trends and the latest advancements in architecture, design, construction, technology and business. Over the years he has built many positive and productive client-architect relationships, causing clients to return for additional projects. Customer experience (CX) is a key element in Stuart’s architectural practice. Through the joint exploration of a project, he provides the client with a deeper understanding of the design and construction process. This is part of MMA’s high-quality service and usually meets or exceeds client requirements. By offering thoughtful solutions to client problems, he makes the process as personal as the place they are creating.

Stuart Miller has been and remains a member of professional, local community & global organizations. He is an Ontario Association of Architects (OAA) member and has sat on the executive of his local architect’s society. By mentoring Greater Essex County District School Board cooperative students, he has supported the career paths of young people seeking careers in STEM fields. His guidance and work as a board trustee, committee member or volunteer in the Windsor-Essex region have helped cultural and community organizations such as South Essex Arts Association, Sun Parlour Players Community Theatre, Leamington Economic Development Committee, and his church. Stuart is a proud and active Rotarian with the Rotary Club of Windsor–St. Clair. He resides on the shores of Lake Erie with his wife, Karen, and their corgi Teddy.
